Zeke- he came from the San Jose shelter and I believe we adopted him in July. His name was Ernie. He's great with kids and loves to play and cuddle. His favorite game is fetch. He had surgery recently because he ate pieces of bedding he had in his kennel. He is fully recovered and has no lingering issues. He seems to have a bit of separation anxiety but we have been working on it. He also seems to do better when he is kenneled with Maya. Since his incident with the bedding I bought a large kennel they can both fit in and I do not put down bedding or anything not easily digestible (toys or treats).
