Today I went to the store in RICHMOND and saw a homeless lady sitting outside on the ice stairway.   I could see she was eating a cut of soup and had a little dog sitting next to her on the ice stairs.   She was giving nothing to this little dog and the dog was shivering uncontrollable.    I parked the car and went around the building to make contact.   I approached a woman about 60 years old, dirty clothes, dirty herself and soup on the side of her mouth.   I told her I saw her little dog was freezing and offered to go into the store and buy a sweater for her.   The woman told me that she is homeless and she found the puppy in the back alley a couple of weeks ago.   She told me she can’t feed her, nor did she have anywhere to keep her.    I could see the puppy was extremely skinny, dirty and again shivering with cold.   I couldn’t stand it.   I told the woman to just give me the puppy and I would give it a good home.   So from Richmond to Santa Rosa, homeward bound.    I stopped at my Horse Vets office and the vet confirmed her to be approx. 4-5 months old.   She if very sweet, very skinny and needs a home.  She adores people.   Loves playing with other dogs.   Wants to chase cats, but that can be worked with.   Loves, Loves, Loves to sit in your lap.  She has now had a bath, has her sweater and now she is waiting for that special someone.   Please, Please, Please  Pass this on to anyone who might want a sweet, adorable puppy.   She should be around 6-7 pounds.
