Princess and Justice are a brother and sister pair who have been here for over 3 yrs. We have had serious trouble placing them because they are a pair, Princess has diabetes, and Justice can be stranger aggressive sometimes. They belonged to a family who moved to Mexico and could not take them with, so we have had them ever since. Princess requires 2 insulin shots a day, which she takes very easily, and she has a special diet. Justice can be very touchy about the back of his neck being touched, we think he was roughed up by someone in the past. Both dogs can be a little stranger aggressive as they were used as guard dogs in their previous home, but once you get to know them Justice is a big cuddle bug who flops down on your lap and prefers sleeping on top of you in bed. Princess loves everyone but tends to dislike other dogs. Justice also seems very uncomfertable around other dogs, more insecure than anything else. These dogs are the most amazing animals I have ever met, and we have come to love them as our own. They love the water, going on walks, riding in the car, and just snuggling in bed. They are incredibly incredibly affectionate, more than any dogs I've ever known, and they are one of the reasons I come to work everyday. Please let me know if you come across anyone who might be willing to foster or adopt them.
